Budapest Wall Art

Budapest Wall Art

Budapest wall art in this collection pictures the Hungarian capital: the Parliament at dawn, golden hour and dusk, the Chain Bridge, the Megyeri Bridge over the Danube, St. Stephen's Basilica, a riverfront watercolor and several Budapest city maps. You choose the view, the size and the finish.

Parliament Views To Choose Between

Several pieces show the Parliament, and the titles tell you the hour. Hungarian Parliament at Dawn, Budapest Parliament at Golden Hour, Budapest Parliament at Dusk and Hungarian Parliament at Dusk each name a time of day, so match the hour to the room you have. Dawn suits a bedroom or kitchen; dusk suits a living room.

Reflection Pieces For A Single Clear Wall

Two pieces are titled for the Parliament's reflection: Budapest Parliament Reflection and Hungarian Parliament Dome Reflection. A single piece on a clear stretch of wall, such as above a bed or a console, keeps the room uncluttered.

Chain Bridge At Golden Dusk Or Twilight

The Chain Bridge appears in two pieces, Budapest Chain Bridge at Golden Dusk and Budapest Chain Bridge at Twilight. Both name an hour, so decide which hour you want on the wall, then give the piece a wall to itself. Either one holds a living room wall alone.

Megyeri Bridge Over The Danube

If you want a bridge over the Danube beyond the Chain Bridge, Megyeri Bridge at Dusk and Megyeri Bridge Over the Danube are the two to look at. Either one gives a plain hallway or dining room wall a single clear subject, so hang it alone with space on both sides.

Budapest City Map Wall Art For A Desk Or Hallway

Budapest city maps are here for readers who prefer a plan of the streets to a skyline. Budapest City Map Wall Art shows the city as a street plan, and Budapest Map with Landmark Silhouettes adds landmark silhouettes to the map. A map fits above a desk, along a hallway or beside a bookcase, where a quieter graphic piece works better than a dramatic sunset.

St. Stephen's Basilica And The Riverfront Watercolor

If you want a landmark that is not the Parliament or a bridge, look at St. Stephen's Basilica, Budapest Wall Art, and at Budapest Riverfront Watercolor Wall Art, a watercolor of the riverfront. A dining room, a guest room or a reading corner each has a wall that takes one of them well, and either can hang beside family pictures.

Large Budapest Canvas Wall Art Above A Sideboard

Over a 72 inch sideboard, Budapest Parliament Reflection in the 48 x 32 inch landscape size spans about 67 percent of the furniture below. Leave 6 to 8 inches between the sideboard top and the piece.

A Panoramic Budapest Piece For A Long Wall

A long, low wall calls for a wide, shallow picture. Budapest Chain Bridge at Golden Dusk comes in the panoramic shape, and the 48 x 16 inch size sits well above a 70 inch console, covering about 69 percent of its width. The same idea works over a long entryway bench.

A Square Budapest Piece For An Office Wall

A square shape suits a desk wall or a narrow section of a room. Budapest City Map Wall Art can be ordered as a 36 x 36 inch square, which spans 72 percent of a 50 inch desk. Leave a few inches of bare wall around it.

More City And Travel Wall Art

If Budapest is one stop on a longer list, look at Prague wall art for another river city and Berlin wall art for German landmarks. For more street plans, browse city map wall art. Skylines from other cities are in city skyline wall art, and travel landmark and map art covers places farther afield.

How Each Piece Is Made

Each Budapest piece is printed after you order it, so nothing waits on a shelf. Canvas prints use museum-quality canvas and archival inks stretched over a solid wooden inner frame, and canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang. Shipping is free, delivery takes 8 to 10 business days from the day you order, and you have 30 days from delivery to return it.

Common Questions

Is there Hungarian wall art in this collection?

Yes. The collection is built around Budapest, the capital of Hungary, so the Hungarian art here is mostly city views and maps. For other Hungarian views and maps, browse Hungary wall art. Each product page title says which view you are getting before you order, so you can compare the pieces before you choose one.

What is oversized wall art, and how do I choose it?

Oversized wall art is a piece that covers most of the width of the wall furniture beneath it. Aim for about two thirds to three quarters of that width. For a 90 inch sofa, a 60 x 40 inch landscape size lands at about 67 percent, which is wide enough to look intentional without crowding either end of the sofa.

Where does vertical wall art work in a living room?

Vertical wall art works on narrow stretches of wall, such as the gap between two windows, beside a doorway or at the end of a bookcase. A 15 x 30 inch portrait size fits a 20 inch wide gap and fills about 75 percent of it. Hang it with the center 57 to 60 inches from the floor.

Is a map a good choice for unique wall art?

Yes. A city map is a good choice for unique wall art when you want something personal rather than a scenic view, for example a place you have lived in or plan to visit. Choose the city that means something to you, then pick a size for the wall you have in mind. Leave a few inches of bare wall around it so the map has room.

What is unique wall art for a living room?

Unique wall art for a living room is a piece tied to one specific place instead of a general theme, and a single Budapest view fits that idea. Decide on the wall first, such as the one behind the sofa or beside a window, then choose a size for it. One piece on its own wall gives the room a clear point of interest.
