Maldives Wall Art

Maldives Wall Art

Maldives wall art here pictures the islands as the titles describe them: overwater bungalows, wooden jetties and piers over turquoise water, aerial beach views, a private island and a Maldives flag. Choose a view, then a finish and a size for your wall.

Maldives Overwater Bungalows Wall Art

The bungalow pieces are the heart of this page. Maldives Overwater Bungalows comes as two separate pieces, Maldives Sunset Over Water Bungalows is its own scene, and Overwater Bungalows at Twilight and Golden Overwater Villas are two more bungalow pieces. Pick a sunset or twilight title when you want an evening scene, and a plain bungalow title for a view without a time of day.

Wooden Jetty And Pier Pictures

A jetty draws a line into the picture. Maldives Wooden Jetty Over Turquoise Water, Maldives Turquoise Pier and Maldives Overwater Pier all use that line, and Tropical Island Pier Perspective narrows it into a long view. Choose one of these when you want depth in a hallway or on a wall facing a door.

Boardwalk And Beach Bar Scenes

Maldives Boardwalk at Sunset follows a walkway across the water, while Thatched Beach Bar Pier shows a thatched beach bar on a pier. Both suit a kitchen, a patio room or a den where you want a holiday feeling.

Aerial Maldives Beach View

Maldives Aerial Beach View looks down on the shoreline from above, so the island shapes and the water fill the picture. Maldives Private Island and Tropical Island in Maldives show a single island on its own. Use these when you want the shape of an island to be the subject rather than a building on it.

Maldives Flag Wall Art

Maldives Flag Wall Art shows the national flag. It is a good companion to the scenery pieces in a travel corner or an office. If you want beaches from several parts of the world, rather than the Maldives alone, the beach wall art collection is the wider set.

What Size Maldives Wall Art Fits Above A Bench?

Aim for about two thirds to three quarters of the width of the furniture below. Over a 66 inch entry bench, a 48 x 16 inch panoramic piece covers about 73 percent. On a 36 inch bedside table, a 24 x 24 inch square piece covers about 67 percent. Hang the center 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall, or 6 to 8 inches above furniture.

Maldives Pictures For A Bedroom Or Bathroom

Water scenes are a natural fit for a bedroom or a spa-style bathroom. Maldives Sunset Over Water Bungalows and Overwater Bungalow Sunset Pier are both offered in a wide shape for a long wall above the bed. Keep one piece per wall for a clean look.

Large Maldives Canvas Wall Art For A Living Room

For a large piece over a sofa, choose a size from the top of the list on the product page. A wide strip such as Golden Overwater Villas stretches along a long sofa wall. Leave bare wall on either side so the water scene has room, and avoid hanging smaller frames close beside it.

Pairing Maldives With Ocean And Travel Art

These pieces sit comfortably beside open-water scenes in the ocean wall art collection. For other tropical shorelines, such as Krabi and Phang Nga Bay, see Thailand wall art, or browse travel wall art for places across the world.

Common Questions

What are some traditional art forms from the Maldives?

This collection does not cover traditional Maldivian crafts. It holds printed pictures of Maldives scenes, such as bungalows over water and island beaches. If you want the look of the islands on your wall, choose a title whose scene you would enjoy seeing every day, then check its page for the finishes on offer.

Is there an art gallery in the Maldives?

This is an online store, not a gallery in the Maldives. You browse the pieces on this page, pick a finish and size, and the order is printed and shipped to you. Delivery takes 8 to 10 days, and you can return a piece within 30 days of delivery.

What are some traditional handicrafts practiced in the Maldives?

Nothing here is a handicraft. Every item is a printed picture, not a carving or woven piece, so this page cannot stand in for craft work. What it does offer is scenes of the islands, which you can hang on a wall or pair with crafts you already own.

Is there extra large Maldives wall art for a living room?

Yes, the biggest sizes in each shape are listed on the product pages, and the landscape shape goes up to 60 x 40 inches. A bigger picture needs a clear wall, so leave space around it. Pick the size by measuring your wall, and allow two weeks before you need it hung.

How wide should large canvas wall art be over a sofa?

Aim for about two thirds to three quarters of the sofa's width. Over a 78 inch sofa, a 54 x 36 inch landscape covers about 69 percent of the width, and the same rule works for a bed or a console. Measure the furniture first, then choose the closest size listed on the product page.
