Namibia Wall Art

Namibia Wall Art

Namibia wall art here is a set of desert pictures: Namib dunes, the flooded flats at Sossusvlei, a red canyon, Damaraland, gemsbok silhouettes and a Namibian flag graphic. Choose the dune, the canyon or the flag first, then a finish and size.

Namib Desert Dunes For A Calm, Open Wall

The dune pieces give a wall one long, simple subject. Namib Desert Dunes and Namib Desert Rippled Sand Dunes are both landscape pieces named for sand and its ripples. Pick one when you want a quiet focal point in a living room or hallway without a busy scene fighting the furniture around it.

Sossusvlei Flooded Flats

Flooded Sossusvlei Reflection is the piece for a Sossusvlei wall print. The title tells you the flats hold water and show a reflection, which is a different subject from the dry dune pieces. It comes in landscape and panoramic shapes, so you can choose a standard frame proportion or a long, low strip.

Red Canyon And Desert Rocks

Red Canyon, Namibia Desert and Namib Desert Rocks move the focus from sand to stone. They suit a study or a dining room where you want texture and a strong shape rather than open space. Both are offered in panoramic proportions, which sit well on a wall that is wider than it is tall.

Sandwich Harbour Where Dunes Meet The Atlantic

Sandwich Harbour Dunes Meet the Atlantic puts desert and ocean in one frame, so it works for people who want a desert picture and a sea picture at once. It is a landscape piece. If you like coast scenes alongside it, the ocean wall art collection holds seascapes and open water from elsewhere.

Damaraland Desert Landscape

Damaraland Desert Landscape is a panoramic piece of the region of that name. Because it is a wide strip, it fits above a long console, a bed or a low sideboard better than a tall narrow wall. Choose it when Damaraland itself is the place you want on the wall, rather than the dunes.

Gemsbok Silhouettes

Namibian Gemsbok Silhouettes shows the antelope as silhouettes in a panoramic format. It brings an animal into a desert collection without turning the wall into a wildlife scene. For savanna animals such as giraffes and elephants, the safari wall art collection is the place to look.

What Size Namibia Wall Art Goes Above A Bed?

Measure the headboard or the bed and aim for about two thirds to three quarters of that width. Over an 80 inch bed, a 60 x 20 inch panoramic piece covers 75 percent of the width. Over a 66 inch sideboard, a 48 x 32 inch landscape piece covers about 73 percent. Hang it with the center 57 to 60 inches from the floor, or 6 to 8 inches above furniture.

Namibian Flag Graphic For A Smaller Space

Namibian Flag Graphic Wall Art is offered in landscape and square. The square shape works well on a short wall beside a door or in a stairwell, where a wide piece would crowd the space. Use the landscape shape if you plan to hang it with other desert pieces in a row.

Pairing Namibia With Other Desert And African Art

These pieces sit comfortably beside the sand and rock scenes in the desert wall art collection. For a wider range of African places, from lakes to country maps, browse the Africa wall art collection. Keeping to one family of subjects across a room ties the walls together.

Common Questions

What is Namibia famous for?

Namibia is known for the Namib Desert and its tall dunes. Wall art can bring that look into a room, with sand shapes, rock and open sky as the main subjects. Browse the titles in this collection to find the desert view you want, then open its page to see the finishes on offer.

What size Namibia print suits a very large empty wall?

Choose the biggest size listed on the product page for the shape you like, and leave clear wall around it. A large piece needs space to breathe, so move other frames away. Landscape and panoramic shapes both reach large sizes, and the page shows the full list for each piece.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 8 to 10 days from the day you order. Each piece is printed after you order it, then shipped to you. If the piece is for a date, such as a move or a gathering, order at least two weeks before so you have time to hang it.

Can I return a desert print if it does not fit my wall?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, but write to us first. A piece returned because it does not fit is a change of mind, which carries a 50% restocking fee, and it must be in new condition and original packaging. Damaged, faulty or misprinted pieces, and the wrong artwork or size, are replaced free instead. Marking the size on your wall with painter tape helps you judge the space.

How high should I hang Namibia wall art?

Hang it with the center about 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall. Over a bed, console or sideboard, leave 6 to 8 inches between the furniture and the bottom edge instead. Hold painter tape or paper at the spot first and step back, so you can judge the height before you drive a nail.
