Portugal Wall Art

Portugal Wall Art

Portugal wall art here pictures Portuguese places: the Lisbon skyline and maps, the Algarve coast, Pena Palace in Sintra, Porto's Douro riverfront, and the islands of Madeira and the Azores. Titles name the exact spot, so you can choose by a place you know or a coast you hope to see.

Lisbon Appears As A Skyline, A Dome And Maps

Decide whether you want Lisbon as a picture or as a map, because the collection holds both. Lisbon Skyline with National Pantheon and Santa Engrácia Dome, Lisbon suit a living room or hallway where you want the city in view. Lisbon Map with Architectural Icons and Lisbon Schematic Map suit a study or a wall beside a desk, and they draw the city rather than photograph it. For maps of other cities, see the city map wall art collection.

A Sunset Beach Or Cliff For The Wall Above A Bed

A bedroom works with one scene on the wall above the bed, and the shore titles give you several to choose from. Adraga Beach Sunset and Praia Do Camillo Sunset each give the bedroom one named beach to keep. Sunset Over Algarve Coast gives you a wider stretch of coast, and Ponta De Sao Lourenco Cliffs, Portugal is the choice when you want cliffs above the bed instead of sand. For beaches in other countries, see the beach wall art collection.

Sintra's Palace And Cascais's Lighthouse

Pena Palace at Golden Dusk, Sintra is the landmark to hang in a living room, and its title names both the palace and the town. Farol De Santa Marta, Cascais names a lighthouse in the Portuguese way, since farol is the word for lighthouse, a good pick for a hallway or den. For lighthouses and sea cliffs from other coasts, see the coastal wall art collection.

A Douro Riverfront And A Storm With A Lighthouse

Pick Porto Old Town Douro Riverfront when the city is what you want on the wall. Douro River Storm Lighthouse is the choice when you want a lighthouse piece for a study or den for a wall over a desk or a low bookcase.

Madeira And The Azores Add Island Scenes

Funchal Harbor at Golden Hour and Quinta Do Lorde Village are the Madeira pieces, good for a dining room or entryway. Sete Cidades Crater Lake and Pico Island Volcano Silhouette at Sunset are the Azores pieces, and either one gives a living room a single focal point. For lakes in other countries, see the lake wall art collection.

A Portuguese Flag And An Iberian Map

Portuguese Flag with Coat of Arms is a flag picture for a home office, a hallway or a family room. Iberian Peninsula Physical Map is a physical map of the whole peninsula, a good choice for a wall near a desk. Other national flags are in the country flag wall art collection, and the city and country map art collection covers maps of other places.

How Wide A Portugal Piece Should Be Above Furniture

Aim for a piece about two thirds to three quarters as wide as the furniture below it. Above a 66 inch console, a 48 x 32 inch landscape piece covers about 73 percent of the width, a good size for Adraga Beach Sunset. Over a 70 inch sideboard, a 48 x 16 inch panoramic piece covers about 69 percent, and Lisbon Skyline with National Pantheon comes in that shape. Hang the center 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall, or 6 to 8 inches above the furniture.

A Narrow Wall Between Doors Takes A Portrait Piece

A narrow wall between two doors takes a portrait piece, and Lisbon Schematic Map comes in that shape. Above a 22 inch hall console, a 15 x 30 inch portrait covers about 68 percent of the width.

Large Portugal Wall Art For A Sofa Wall

For a large piece, choose a coast or a skyline with open wall on both sides. Above a 90 inch sofa, a 60 x 40 inch landscape covers about two thirds of the width. Sunset Over Algarve Coast is one to try there, and so is the Lisbon skyline.

How Each Piece Is Made

No Portugal piece exists until you order it, and then it is printed. The canvas is museum quality, printed with archival inks and stretched over a solid wooden inner frame. Canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang.

Common Questions

Is this traditional Portuguese art?

No. This collection is wall art of places in Portugal, not a survey of its crafts or folk traditions. None of the pieces is a craft object or a folk pattern. The pieces picture places, maps or a flag, and you can open its product page to look at the picture and choose a size before you order.

Is there Portuguese tile wall art?

No azulejo tile piece is in this collection today. The pieces picture places, not tile patterns, so a tile look is not something to expect here. If tiles are what you are after, open a piece's product page and look at the picture before you order, and the price for each size shows there.

Are there Portugal posters?

Yes, Poster Print is one of the finishes for these pieces. It arrives unframed, so it does not come ready to hang, and it usually has the lowest starting price of the finishes. A poster is the finish to pick when you already own a frame or plan to have one made. The price for each size is shown on the product page before you add it to your cart.

What crafts is Portugal known for?

This page does not answer that, because it sells pictures of Portuguese places, not crafts. Here you find coasts, cities, islands, maps and a flag, each printed to order after you place the order. If you want to see a place on your wall, the titles name it, so you can search this collection by a place you know.

Where can I buy Portugal art prints?

Portugal art prints are sold on this page, one piece at a time. Pick the place you want, then choose a size on its product page, where the price is shown before checkout. A piece is shipped from within your region at no charge. Delivery takes 8 to 10 business days from the day you order, and you have 30 days from delivery to return it.
