Quran Verse Calligraphy Wall Art

Quran Verse Calligraphy Wall Art

Quran wall art in this collection is Arabic calligraphy of surahs and verses, each piece titled for the passage it shows, often with the surah and verse numbers. Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and Al-Nas sit beside An-Nahl, Al-Isra, Ibrahim and Taha, along with a marriage verse in gold script.

Surah Wall Art Titled By Verse Number

Many titles name a surah and add a verse number, so you can search for a reference you already know. Quran Surah 21 verse 83 and Sura Yusuf, ayat 18 put the verse after the surah, while Surah At Taubah 9:40 and Surah Albaqarah 2:163 join the surah and verse numbers with a colon. Surah al-NAHL 16, ayat 43 gives the name and both numbers.

Surah Names Spelled More Than One Way

Arabic names come into English in more than one spelling, so try each form when you search. Surah Al Fatiha 1, Quran Al Fatiha 1 and Sura Alfateha are all titled for Al-Fatiha, and Quran Surah 3 AAL-Imraan verses 26-27 and Surah al-Imran 3, verses 26-27 name the same two verses. Al Naas beside Al-Nas, and Alfalaq beside Al Falaq, turn up the same way.

Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq And Al-Nas Calligraphy

Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and Al-Nas each have several pieces here. Sura al-Ikhlas 112 verse, Surah Al-Falaq 113 and Surah Al-Nas 114 carry the surah number, and Surah Al-Kafirun 109 sits beside them. Quran Surah 113 al Falaq is the title of more than one piece, so open each to compare the lettering.

Gold Script And Gold Calligraphy Titles

For gold lettering, look for gold in the title: Quranic Marriage Verse in Gold Script and Surah Al-falaq Gold Calligraphy name it. The product page shows the ground behind the gold: a dark ground stands apart from a white or cream wall, and a light ground from a wall painted navy or deep green.

Quran Wall Art Above A Living Room Sofa

A sofa wall in the living room takes a landscape piece sized to the seat below it. Above a 76 inch sofa, a 54 x 36 inch landscape covers about 71 percent of the width. Hang the bottom edge 6 to 8 inches clear of the sofa back. Quran Surah Al Isra, Al-Quran Surah Alhasyr and Surah Al-naml 27, 88 ayat are three to consider for this wall.

Panoramic Verse Pieces For A Sectional Or Media Console

When the furniture is long and low, a panoramic piece matches its length. Quran Surah Taha Ayat 98 and Surah An-Nahl (18) are panoramic pieces, and Quran Sura 37, verse 38 is too. Over an 88 inch sectional, a 60 x 20 inch panoramic covers about 68 percent; over a 68 inch media console, a 48 x 16 inch panoramic covers about 71 percent.

Surah Calligraphy For A Dining Table Or Sideboard

In a dining room, size the piece to the table or sideboard below it and center it on that furniture. Along a 70 inch dining table, a 48 x 32 inch landscape covers about 69 percent; above an 82 inch sideboard, a 60 x 40 inch landscape covers about 73 percent. Surah Al-'Asr, Quran Surah Al Hadid 4 and Sura 28, Al-Qasas 24 Ayat are choices for either one.

Upright Verse Pieces For A Narrow Wall

A narrow wall beside a doorway or between two windows takes an upright piece. Al Quran Surah Qamar, verse 49 is offered as a portrait, as is Surah al Ghafir 40, 44 ayat. On a stretch of wall 26 inches wide, an 18 x 36 inch portrait covers about 69 percent of the width. Hang it with the center 57 to 60 inches from the floor.

Square Verse Pieces Above A Console Table Or Desk

A square piece fits the shorter stretch of wall above a console table or a desk. Surah Ibrahim (27), Surah At-Taghabun Verse 16 and Al Quran Asy-Syarh Verse 6 are square pieces. Over a 50 inch console table, a 36 x 36 inch square covers about 72 percent, and over a 30 inch desk, a 20 x 20 inch square covers about 67 percent.

Mosques, Holy Cities And Other Arabic Lettering

Common Questions

What is Quran calligraphy wall art?

Quran calligraphy wall art is a picture whose subject is the Arabic lettering of a surah or a verse from the Quran. The lettering is in Arabic, while the titles spell surah names in English letters, so the title is how you find a passage. Open the product page to see the full layout before you choose a size.

Which Quran verses come as wall art?

Verses from many surahs are here. Al Quran Sura 13 AR Rad verse 28, Quran Surah al-buruj verse 14 and Surah An-Naba (31-36) each name a passage. Surah al-Ala 87, verse 18-19 names two verses, and Surah 91 al-Shams ayat 1-15 runs from ayat 1 to 15. If you know the surah but not the verse, search the collection by the surah name.

Is there Quran canvas wall art?

Yes. Each piece comes as a Canvas Print: museum-quality canvas with archival inks, stretched over a solid wooden inner frame, with no outer frame around it. A Framed Canvas sets that same canvas inside a frame. Both arrive ready to hang, while a Poster Print arrives unframed.

Where can I buy Quran wall art online?

You can order it here, at CanvasPiece, which sells online only. Your piece is printed after you place the order and shipped from within your region. Shipping is free, the order reaches you 8 to 10 business days after you place it, and you have 30 days from delivery to send it back.

Is there 3D Quran wall art?

No. These are printed pictures, so the lettering lies flat on canvas or paper and does not stand out from the wall as a carved or cut shape. Any depth or shine you see in the gold is part of the printed image. For raised lettering, look for carved or cut pieces instead of a print.
