Castle Wall Art

Castle Wall Art

Castle wall art here spans real castles and chateaux from Neuschwanstein and Eilean Donan to Himeji and Chambord, and storybook ones with dragons, moons and snow. Browse by country, by lake or river setting, or by whether you want a real place or an illustrated fantasy keep.

German Castles On Rivers And Hills

Neuschwanstein Castle in Autumn, Eltz Castle at Dusk, Hohenzollern Castle at Sunset, Heidelberg Castle at Dusk and Stolzenfels Castle on the Rhine are the German pieces. Each is named for its castle and often for the hour or season. For more of that country, from Bavaria to Berlin, see Germany wall art.

Scottish, Welsh And English Castles

Eilean Donan Castle at Sunset, Dunnottar Castle on Stonehaven Cliffs, Urquhart Castle Ruins and Kilchurn Castle in Winter, Loch Awe cover Scotland. Conwy Castle and Arched Bridge is a Welsh view, and Corfe Castle Ruins is an English one. Browse more places across Britain on United Kingdom wall art.

Castles And Ruins On The Island Of Ireland

Fantasy Castle Wall Art And Dragons

Hilltop Fairy Castle Illustration, Dragon Over Fairytale Castle, Dragon Perched on Castle, Moonlit Magic Castle Silhouette and Twin Moons Over Alien Castle are storybook scenes with dragons and moons, not views of real buildings.

Many castles here sit beside water. Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva, Rapperswil Castle Over Lake Zurich, Bled Castle with Rowboat, Leeds Castle Reflection and Castle Over Misty Lake at Dusk each name a lake, a rowboat, a reflection or mist.

Choose a piece about two thirds to three quarters of the width of the furniture below. Above a 52 inch console, Neuschwanstein Castle in Autumn at 36 x 24 inches covers 69 percent of the width. Dunnottar Castle on Stonehaven Cliffs at 48 x 16 inches covers 69 percent of a 70 inch bench, and a square Chillon Castle Reflection at 20 x 20 inches covers 69 percent of a 29 inch table. Eltz Castle at Dusk comes in a tall portrait too; a 20 x 40 inch print covers 71 percent of a 28 inch hall table.

How Each Piece Is Made

Each castle print is made to order once you buy it. Canvas prints use museum-quality canvas and archival inks and are stretched over a solid wooden inner frame.

Common Questions

What is the difference between a castle and a chateau?

A castle is a fortified building built to be defended, while a chateau is a French country house or palace, often built for comfort and show. The two overlap in this collection, which holds fortresses and ruins beside country houses. Titles say which one you are choosing, and you can browse all of them together.

How high should I hang castle wall art?

Hang it with the center of the picture 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall. When it goes above furniture, leave 6 to 8 inches between the furniture and the bottom edge of the piece. Measure the height from the floor first and mark the center point on the wall lightly before you fix a nail.

Is castle wall art ready to hang?

Canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang. A poster print arrives unframed and is not ready to hang, so it suits you if you already have a frame or plan to choose one. The finish is shown on the product page for each castle before you order, so you can decide there.

How long does castle wall art take to arrive?

Delivery takes 8 to 10 days from the day you order, and shipping is free. Each piece is printed to order and shipped from within your region. For a gift or a move, order at least two weeks before you need it so the print can be made and delivered in good time.

Can I return castle wall art?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, once you have written to us. Damaged, faulty or misprinted castle pieces are replaced free with nothing sent back, and a wrong artwork or wrong size is replaced free too. A change of mind is also accepted, in new condition and original packaging, but it carries a 50% restocking fee. A tape measure and a paper template of the print size help you choose well the first time.
