Milky Way Wall Art

Milky Way Wall Art

Milky Way wall art here puts the band of the galaxy over real landscapes: mountain ridges, snowy peaks, a lone tree, a lone hiker, a shipwreck, a frozen shore and the Sahara. A few starry views and a violet blue galaxy piece join them. Choose the landscape beneath the stars, then a finish and size.

Milky Way Over Mountain Ridges And Peaks

Mountains appear often here. Milky Way Over Mountain Ridge, Milky Way Over Misty Mountain Ridge and Milky Way Over Silhouetted Hills put a mountain ridge or hills under the sky. Milky Way Over Snow Capped Peaks adds snow in its title. Over a 70 inch loveseat, a 48 x 32 inch landscape covers about 69% of the width.

Milky Way Over Snowy Dolomites And Italian Mountains

Milky Way Over Snowy Dolomites and Misty Italian Mountains Under the Milky Way name Italian ranges. The Dolomites piece is a Square, a fit for a small wall. Over a 38 inch chest of drawers, a 27 x 27 inch Square covers about 71% of the width. More Italian places are on our Italy wall art page.

Matterhorn Starry Reflection As Night Sky Wall Art

Matterhorn Starry Reflection names a peak and its reflection under a starry sky. It comes as a Portrait or a Square. For pieces of Swiss lakes and mountains, see Switzerland wall art.

Kirkjufell Under The Milky Way

Kirkjufell Under the Milky Way names a single mountain in its title. The mountain has its own page, Kirkjufell wall art, for more pieces of the same peak.

A Lone Tree Or A Lone Hiker Under The Stars

Lone Tree Under Milky Way and Lone Hiker Under the Milky Way each pick one subject to stand beneath the sky. Over a 52 inch headboard, a 36 x 12 inch panoramic of the tree covers about 69% of the width, and leaves the space above the bed open.

Shipwreck, Frozen Shore And Bonsai Rock

Shipwreck Under Milky Way, Milky Way Over Frozen Shore and Milky Way Over Bonsai Rock each name something other than a mountain. They put a single subject under the sky.

Sahara Night Sky With Camels

Sahara Night Sky with Camels is the desert piece here. For daytime dunes and other dry ground, see our desert landscape wall art collection.

Violet Blue Milky Way And Nebula Sky Pieces

Violet Blue Milky Way Galaxy and Milky Way Nebula Sky with Silhouetted Trees lean on the sky itself. The nebula title adds trees in silhouette. If you want planets, other galaxies and spacecraft scenes, the space and astronomy wall art collection has them.

Where To Hang Night Sky Pictures

A dark sky picture suits rooms where the lights stay low in the evening, such as a bedroom, a study or a media room. Hang it away from a window so daylight does not wash across the surface. Keep the walls around it plain and let the sky be the one strong element in the room.

How Each Piece Is Made

A piece is printed to order after you place it. Canvas prints use museum-quality canvas and archival inks, stretched over a solid wooden inner frame, so canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang. A poster arrives unframed and usually starts at the lowest price.

Common Questions

Is there a Milky Way poster?

Yes. Every piece here is offered as a poster print, which arrives unframed and usually starts at the lowest price. A poster does not arrive ready to hang, so plan on a frame or hanging strips. Open any page to see the sizes offered for that scene.

What kind of Milky Way art is here?

These are printed pictures of the Milky Way over landscapes, with the title naming what stands beneath it. They are not drawings or paintings of the galaxy as seen from space. Look for the foreground you like, whether that is a ridge, a tree, a ship or a snowy shore.

Is there Milky Way galaxy wall art in space?

These pieces show the Milky Way over landscapes rather than from space, with the galaxy as the sky above a ridge, a tree, a ship or a shore. For pictures made of space itself, such as planets and nebulae, browse the astronomy collection instead, where those subjects have a page of their own.

How high should I hang Milky Way wall art?

Put the center of the picture 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall. Above a sofa, bed or console, leave 6 to 8 inches between the furniture and the bottom edge. Measure the wall first and mark the center point lightly before you fix a nail, so the sky sits level with your line of sight.

How long does Milky Way wall art take to arrive?

Delivery takes 8 to 10 days from the day you order, and shipping is free. Each piece is printed after you order it and shipped from within your region. Order at least two weeks before you need it. Returns run 30 days from delivery.
