Kirkjufell Wall Art

Kirkjufell Wall Art

Kirkjufell wall art centers on the mountain on Iceland's Snaefellsnes peninsula and the Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall beside it. The pieces show the peak at sunset, under the northern lights and beneath the Milky Way. Choose the sky you like best, then pick the shape and size for your wall.

One Mountain, Three Skies To Choose From

The titles sort this collection by sky. Sunset pieces include Kirkjufell at Sunset, Kirkjufell Mountain Sunset and Kirkjufell Sunset Reflection. Aurora pieces use the northern lights, and one piece puts the mountain under the Milky Way. Deciding on the sky first narrows the choice quickly.

Kirkjufellsfoss Pieces Pair The Waterfall With The Peak

Kirkjufell Peak and Kirkjufellsfoss and Kirkjufell Sunset with Kirkjufellsfoss show the falls together with the mountain, so you get a waterfall and a peak in one picture. Northern Lights Over Kirkjufellsfoss adds the aurora to the same pairing. If a waterfall is what you came for, the waterfall wall art collection spreads out to falls around the world.

Northern Lights Over Kirkjufell Wall Art For A Bedroom

Northern Lights Over Kirkjufell, Kirkjufell Northern Lights and Aurora Over Kirkjufell all put the aurora above the mountain. Those titles give you three versions to compare side by side before you decide. A bedroom wall above a headboard is a natural home for a night sky, and the square shape, offered for two of them, fits a narrower wall than a wide landscape does.

Kirkjufell Under The Milky Way Above A Sofa

Kirkjufell Under the Milky Way is the one piece that pairs the mountain with the stars rather than the aurora. It is offered in landscape, panoramic and square shapes. Over a 72 inch sofa, a 48 x 32 inch landscape size spans about 67 percent of the width, and over a 90 inch sofa a 60 x 40 inch size spans about 67 percent. For other starry views, see the Milky Way wall art collection.

Square Kirkjufell Wall Art For A Gallery Of Pictures

Several pieces here come in a square shape, among them Aurora Over Kirkjufell, Kirkjufell at Sunset and Kirkjufell Sunset Reflection. A 24 x 24 inch square works above a 34 inch nightstand or a narrow console, spanning about 71 percent of the width. Square pieces also stack well beside other pictures if you are planning a mixed wall.

Panoramic Pieces For A Long Wall

Kirkjufell Sunset with Kirkjufellsfoss, Aurora Over Kirkjufell and Northern Lights Over Kirkjufell also come in a panoramic shape. A 60 x 20 inch panoramic spans about 67 percent of a 90 inch wall behind a couch or a bench. The wide format keeps the peak and its sky together without making the picture taller than the furniture below it.

Kirkjufell Beside Other Iceland Wall Art

This page holds the mountain and its waterfall only. The Iceland wall art collection widens out to other waterfalls, mountains and icebergs, and the Goðafoss waterfall wall art collection holds the falls in the north. Reykjavik pieces, such as city views and maps, live in the Reykjavik wall art collection.

Matching A Kirkjufell Piece To A Room

Hang it so the center sits 57 to 60 inches from the floor on an open wall, and 6 to 8 inches above any furniture below it.

How Each Piece Is Made

A Kirkjufell piece is printed to order after you place your order and shipped from within your region. Canvas prints use museum-quality canvas and archival inks stretched over a solid wooden inner frame, and canvas and framed pieces arrive ready to hang.
